3D Rhythm of Life is a fusion of latin and afro-caribbean grooves, blending a variety of genres including salsa, latin jazz, reggae, and r&b. The group packs an abundance of funk and charisma into their exhilarating live and recorded performances. The band creates an experience that invites music fans to the dance floor or to just get their groove on!

Due to the chilly weather this weekend, the concert will be held indoors.

AWPL Classic Monday - From Here to Eternity (1953) Fred Zinnemann’s  epic war romance/drama - based James Jones’ 1951 novel – stars Burt Lancaster, Montgomery Clift, Frank Sinatra Deborah Kerr and Donna Reed; the story of three U.S. Army soldiers stationed in Hawaii in the months leading up to the attack on Pearl Harbor – and the women in their lives!  Winner of 8 Academy Awards: Best Picture, Best Director, Adapted Screenplay, Supporting Actor (Sinatra), and Supporting Actress (Reed).  Not Rated: 1 hour, 58 minutes.

Stress and anxiety are feelings we all experience. Though sometimes uncomfortable and overwhelming, stress and anxiety are personally meaningful. Cultivating mindfulness creates space for stress and anxiety to sit more comfortably with us, creating a foundation for getting in touch with their roots. If you are interested in cultivating mindfulness to deal with stress and anxiety, join Anthony Gonzalez, a mental health counseling intern and student at SUNY New Paltz, for weekly group lessons in mindfulness.

Come and meet new friends and join in on a game that is played all over the world.  Mahjongg enthusiasts of all skill levels are invited to play every Tuesday from 10am to 1pm. The sessions are open-ended and participants can play as many or as few games as they wish.  Players with mahjongg sets are encouraged to bring them, as the Library has a limited number to loan. This program is free, ongoing and open to players from all communities.
