    Local author Anita Page will sign her book "Damned If You Don't", a dark traditional mystery set in the Catskill Mountains.
    Page's short stories have appeared in numerous anthologies, ezines and print journals. She received a Derringer Award from the Short Mystery Fiction Society in 2010 for her short story, "Twas the Night".

    Mary Makofske will lead a discussion of Garbage Land by Elizabeth Royte, second book in our Earthwise series.
    With an engaging style, Royte measures and then follows her garbage to see where, and how, it's disposed of. In the process, she introduces fascinating facts and people.
    Booklist called Garbage Land "downright entertaining."

    Janet Hamil is an American poet, spoken word artist and painter. Her poem "K-E-R-O-U-A-C" was nominated for a Pushcart Prize, and her fifth collection, Body of Water, was nominated for the Poetry Society of America's William Carlos Williams Prize.
    Her publications include 5 books of poetry, 2CDs in collaboration with the band Moving Star and poems in 8 anthologies. She's an instructor and member of the board of advisors at the Northeast College of Poetry's College of Poetry in Warwick, N.Y. She is also a member of the Seligmann Foundation in Sugar Loaf.
    An open mic will follow Ms. Hamill's readings.
