    Join us for this showing of the film version of the popular 2009 novel "The Help," written by Kathryn Stockett. It tells the story of African American maids working in white households in Jackson, Mississippi during the early 1960s.
    Participants are encouraged to read the novel, see the film and then join us on February 27 for a discussion of novel and its transition to film. Copies of the book are available at the Library.

    Read the book, see the film and join us for a discussion of the popular 2009 novel "The Help" by Kathryn Stockett.Set in JacksonMississippi in 1962, the book tells the story of women who cross boundaries as the civil rights movement explodes around them.The discussion will explore the book and its transition to film.
    Copies of the book and the film are available at the Library. The film will be shown at the Library on Saturday, February 25 from 2 to 4:30pm. Registration required.
    We encourage participants to read the book and see the film, but both are not required to join the discussion.

    Enrollment is limited to Warwick cardholders only.
    Learn basic Italian vocabulary and use these words in sentences and converation. Practice conversations for various social settings: traveling, restaurants, museums, church, shopping, etc.
    The instructor for this series is Dr. Dominic Cappelleri, a native of Italy andWarwick resident.
    The class is limited to 13. The class will meet for 10 weeks on Monday evenings from 6:30pm to 7:45pm, February 13 and 27; March 5, 12, 19 and 26; April 2, 9, 16 and 23. Participants are encouraged to attend all of the sessions to maximize the learning experience. Registering later in the series is permissible if the class is not filled.

    Local author Anita Page will sign her book "Damned If You Don't", a dark traditional mystery set in the Catskill Mountains.
    Page's short stories have appeared in numerous anthologies, ezines and print journals. She received a Derringer Award from the Short Mystery Fiction Society in 2010 for her short story, "Twas the Night".
