How do we know what we know about history? Many times it all comes down to the documents. How do others know us, and our family history? For Constitution Day weekend, join us as we look at how handwritten words have communicated so much of what shapes our identity, and our daily lives-- then do some hands-on experience with writing tools of the past. Explore the sensory and thoughtful art of cursive. What does your signature say?

AWPL Classic Monday - Chinatown (1974) Forget it, Jake. It's Chinatown. Roman Polanski’s neo-noir thriller film stars Jack Nicholson, Faye Dunaway and John Huston. Los Angeles 1937: Jake 'J.J.' Gittes, a private detective, is hired to expose an adulterer, but finds himself caught up in a web of deceit, corruption, and murder.
