Step up your Spanish skills with our Beginner/Intermediate Spanish class! Designed for those who have some basic knowledge of Spanish, this course will help you build on your foundation, expanding your vocabulary, improving your grammar, and enhancing your conversational abilities.

Take your Spanish to the next level with our Intermediate/Advanced class led by Luz Lopez! Ideal for those with a solid grasp of the language, this course focuses on refining your fluency, deepening your understanding of complex grammar, and mastering nuanced conversation.

Come one, come all to the Warwick Children's Book Festival!  Find the Festival at Stanley-Deming Park or, in the case of rain, the Warwick Valley Middle School at 225 West Street.  The festival will feature more than 70 distinguished authors and illustrators of books for children, who will be on hand to meet families, talk with readers, and sign their books, which will be available for purchase.  The Uncle Brothers will perform a free children's concert beginning at noon.  Food trucks and a children's craft activity will round out the fun. 

This event is presented by Albert Wisner Public Library with the generous sponsorship of Glenn P. and Susan D. Dickes, champions of children's literacy and longtime Library benefactors.  A portion of the festival's proceeds will benefit the Albert Wisner Public Library Foundation. 

Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (1953) Howard Hawks musical comedy stars Jane Russell and Marilyn Monroe.  Showgirls Lorelei Lee and Dorothy Shaw travel to Paris, pursued by a private detective hired by the suspicious father of Lorelei's fiancé, as well as a rich, enamored old man and many other doting admirers.   Not Rated: 1 hour 31 minutes.

Come and meet new friends and join in on a game that is played all over the world.  Mahjong enthusiasts of all skill levels are invited to play every Tuesday from 10am to 1pm. The sessions are open-ended and participants can play as many or as few games as they wish.  Players with mahjong sets are encouraged to bring them, as the Library has only a limited number to loan. This program is free, ongoing and open to players from all communities.

Join Wickham Works for a four week series of workshops designed for mature adults of all abilities, along with their family members and caregivers. The program is intended to engage participants with an uplifting combination of music, art, and crafts in a community recreation space. The sessions begin with 15 minutes of music and movement, alternating between choreographer and dance teacher Linda Mensch, and musician, conductor, and Conductorcise® inventor David Dworkin. After a brief break, participants gather for an art or craft activity led by artist Jenny Torino. All activities are adaptable for seated participation and are designed to suit all skill levels. The primary goal of the program is to enhance seniors' quality of life by offering a weekly social gathering that encourages them to stay active, independent, and engaged with their community. Attendance at all four sessions is strongly encouraged.

Bring your knitting, crochet, embroidery, needlepoint, cross stitch, punch needling, applique, sewing and all of your fiber arts projects and join us for a non-instructional night of stitching but no b*@%$ing.  Group meets on the main level in the poetry corner.  No registration; drop-in anytime.
