How close can we, as individuals, get to understanding each other? How well do we understand ourselves? Using radical constructivism as a tool for deepening self-understanding, this class explores the universal and particular aspects of being. If such topics interest you, join Anthony Gonzalez, a mental health counseling intern and student at SUNY New Paltz, for weekly discussions about how self-understanding can improve your mental health and relationships.
Come and meet new friends and join in on a game that is played all over the world. Mahjongg enthusiasts of all skill levels are invited to play every Tuesday from 10am to 1pm. The sessions are open-ended and participants can play as many or as few games as they wish. Players with mahjongg sets are encouraged to bring them, as the Library has only a limited number to loan. This program is free, ongoing and open to players from all communities.

What’s it like to be a school nurse? A firefighter? A farmer? A police officer? A community volunteer? Often we don’t know much about the work of others, but “A Day in the Life,” a program organized by We the People Warwick, will offer a glimpse into daily lives such as these. We often don’t know much about what others do all day, and this evening gives three local residents - horse farm owner Shayne Haysom, Repair Coach and rescuer of broken items Fred Rossi, and realtor Chris Staritz - a chance to describe the joys and challenges of their jobs or volunteer activities. There will be time for questions from the audience. This program is part of We the People Warwick’s mission to connect people in our community together.
