For grades K-3. Hear stories about these lovable creatures and make a panda puppet.

Do you like to write stories, poetry, screenplays, or song lyrics? Join the Teen Creative Writing Workshop. Bring in your work each week for constructive feedback and share ideas with other writers. Sessions will be facilitated by writer Tom Naples in this member-driven workshop.
Please bring a writing sample to the first workshop on July 6. Samples must be 500 words or less. Poetry and prose are both welcome.

Session 1- For ages 3-5. Enjoy stories, songs and a craft. This 3 week session will run July 7, 14, 21. Registration is required and must be done at the library. Registration will be from June 11-23. A library card is required for registration. Please register for one session only.

Gar will share tips on the organic approach to pest management, soil amendment, mulching and watering technique. She will also discuss specific plants that thrive in the hot months.

Ages 4-8. Dress up like Fancy Nancy and have a fashion show.

Anne Tormela of the Manhattan Lyric Opera will perform highlights of the most beloved operetta, opera, Broadway and popular song classics. Spreical requests are welcomed!

Wear your PJs, bring a pillow or stuffed animals and enjoy some stories. This is a great family event for families with little ones.

Children will meet a variety of interesting snakes, lizards and turtles, and learn about how they are adapted to survive in nature. For children who have completed grades 2-5.
