For ages 18-36 months.This session is 5 weeks.Come listen to stories, sing songs and do fingerplays in this storytime meant for young children and a caregiver. Register at the library between June 11-23. Storytimes are done by lottery and notification is by postcard. Please bring your valid library card when registering.

Uncle Eye and Ms. Melody are engaging musical and theatrical performers. Sing along and hear wonderful stories from around the world. This program is for families and children 4 yrs. and older.

For those who have completed Grades K-3.. Hear Japanese folktales, make cherry blossoms, enjoy our version of "sushi".

Atari! Dreamcast! Sega! Retro video games! Come to the Library to play your old favorites. Come in costume as your favorite video game character and win a prize.

Make your own unique papers using organic materials like flower petals, onion skins, and colored pencil shavings. The papers can be made into traditional flat pieces or pressed into molds.

Sara de Maine Kearns has been a world traveler her entire life. She plans and escorts trips to the African continent. Teaming up with Dr. Richard Hull, a specialist on Africa who teaches at NYU, this program will ignite your curiousity for the possibility of a safari.

The Board of Trustees meets at 7pm on the 3rd Tuesday of each month. The public is welcome to attend.

Using food as the medium, Norma Chang,"The Traveling Gourmet," engages children in exploring the traditions and geography of China.
This program is for children who have completed Grades 2-5

Melanie Dwornik, a certified dietician and nutritionist, will discuss the health benefits of the Mediterranean diet as well as provide a cooking demonstration.

English professor, Diane Tomko will lead a discussion of "The Winter's Tale" by William Shakespeare. The play wil be performed locally this summer.

Bring the family and we will give you a bunch of chalk to decorate our sidewalk. A fun family evening.

Visit Hogwarts, get sorted, spend your galleons in Hogsmeade and take your O.W.L.s. Come dressed for the visit! Participants must have completed grades 2-5.

On Target Maintenance will arrive at 4:30pm to clean, wax and buff floors in the staff room, activity room, Check in area and Friends & Bookends.
They will ask for Kathleen Koopman.

Drop-in and build a Lego creation. Ages 4-10.

Wear your PJs, bring a pillow or stuffed animal and enjoy some stories. Fun for families with little ones!

Family movie night at the Library. Come enjoy a feature film with the family. We will be watching Everyone's Hero (2006). Rated G.Adult must remain with child.
