Join Melissa Shaw Smith to create crafts and decorations for a Day of Acceptance event to be held on Saturday, June 5th in Stanley-Deming Park.  It is presented by the Community Center, the Warwick Gay/Straight Alliance from WVHS and Wickham Works.  Please bring in any used bubble wrap mailers - e.g. Amazon Prime bags, bubble-lined yellow envelopes and everything in between, any size - for creating decorations.

Fractured Faces - Using a current photocopied picture of yourself, cut the photo into geometric shapes and reassemble them to make a fractured self-portrait.  Bring the photo and we'll enlarge/copy it so you can reassemble it.  Ages 9-12.  Register online beginning June 19.  The program will be held outside; social distancing and masks required.

Transfer Art - Transfer your own art, pictures of your pets, or other cool pictures onto a wooden cube.  Ages 9-12.  Register online beginning June 19.  This program will be outside; social distancing and masks required.

Telestrations - Play the visual version of the classic "telephone game," where you draw what you see, then guess what you saw to reveal hilarious outcomes!  Ages 9-12.  Register online beginning June 19.  This program will be outside; social distancing and masks required.

Sand Mandalas - Create colorful mandalas by "painting" with sand.  Register online beginning June 19.  Ages 9-12.  This program will be held outside; social distancing and masks required.

Design your own Rubik's Cube - we supply a blank cube, you design each side, then mix it up and try to solve it.  Ages 9-12.  Register online beginning June 19. This program will be held outside; social distancing and masks required.

Artist in Training - Have some fun with various art materials.  Register online beginning June 19 to reserve your bag of art supplies. The directions will be released on video on Aug. 3.  Ages 5-8.  This class will create abstract pictures using chalk and stencils.

Join the Pretty Committee for a Pinterest Party @ the Library as we create a beautiful farmhouse planter!  If you have a fake succulent plant at home, you can add it to this project!
