* Contributions of Native Americans: on Thursday, November 7 at 6:30pm, please join Reuben Fast Horse to learn about how many of today's foods, tools, medicines, and governmental structures are derived from Ancient America. Reuben Fast Horse, born on the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation, is a traditional Lakota singer, dancer, flutist, drummer, craftsman, storyteller and educator.
Grades 2-5. Hear a Native American folktale and work together to create a totem pole to decorate the children's room. Regsiter Oct. 4 at the library.
Grades K-2. In this book club we will share a book and then talk about the story and pictures. We will do a craft or activity at the end. Register Oct. 4 at the library.
The personal essay is one of the most important - and most daunting! - aspects of the college application. High School seniors will gain valuable insights on how to capture the reader's attention and create a compelling narrative. Please register by calling or stopping by the Library Help Desk.
