Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris (2022) Historical comedy-drama  based on Paul Gallico’s 1958 novel Mrs. 'Arris Goes to Paris stars Lesley Manville, Isabelle Huppert, Lambert Wilson, Alba Baptista, Lucas Bravo, Ellen Thomas, Rose Williams, and Jason Isaacs; a widowed cleaning lady in 1950’s London who falls madly in love with a couture Dior dress and decides that she must have one of her own. After she works, starves, and gambles to raise the funds to pursue her dream, she embarks on an adventure to Paris which will change not only her own outlook, but the very future of the House of Dior. Meatless meals reduce greenhouse gasses, save water, and are delicious!  Help prepare a meatless meal then share it at the library with your family. For grades K-12.

Come and meet new friends and join in on a game that is played all over the world.  Mahjong enthusiasts of all skill levels are invited to play every Tuesday from 10am to 1pm. The sessions are open-ended and participants can play as many or as few games as they wish.  Players with mahjong sets are encouraged to bring them, as the Library has only a limited number to loan. This program is free, ongoing and open to players from all communities.

Our favorite therapy dogs are back to hear you read.  If you can't read on your own, a caregiver can read for you.

Stop in or call the Children's Room to register for your 15 minute reading slot, 1 week prior to the date you'd like to read.
