AWPL Classic Monday - Now, Voyager (1942) Irving Rapper’s drama based on Olive Higgins Prouty 1941 novels stars Hollywood legends Bette Davis, Paul Henreid and Claude Rains; the story of a frumpy spinster who blossoms under therapy and becomes an elegant, independent woman – it was the biggest box office hit of Bette Davis's career.  Not Rated; 1 hour, 57 minutes.

Come and meet new friends and join in on a game that is played all over the world.  Mahjongg enthusiasts of all skill levels are invited to play every Tuesday from 10am to 1pm. The sessions are open-ended and participants can play as many or as few games as they wish.  Players with mahjongg sets are encouraged to bring them, as the Library has a limited number to loan. This program is free, ongoing and open to players from all communities.

Are you interested in practising your Spanish? Join Carlos Gonzalez, originally from Mexico City, for an hour of conversational Spanish where you will talk about various topics of interest such as history, education, etc. in a conversational setting. 

The Writer's Group meets every Wednesday, from 2 to 4pm in the Board Room. Bring in 6 copies of up to four pages, typed and double spaced, to be critiqued by fellow writers in a friendly, constructive manner. All forms of prose acceptable; no poetry please! This is a non-instructional program for adults; new members always welcome!
