Over the last few years, we have come to appreciate what each of us does on a daily basis in a new way, but what are each others' days really like? Often, we don’t know much about the day-to-day work of our neighbors, but this “A Day in the Life” program will offer a glimpse.
Much like their Warwick Story Share events, these “A Day in the Life” gatherings allow us to connect with our neighbors through stories they share about what they do. We the People Warwick recognizes that an opportunity to look inside the day of another can engage our sense of curiosity and deepen our connection. At these casual one-and-a half-hour gatherings, two or three local residents will have 10 or 15 minutes to share their stories. Presenters might describe a typical day, a memorable day, or what they find most rewarding or challenging about their job or activity. There will also be time for questions from the audience. Please join us as we continue this storytelling journey here in Warwick! Here are presenters for the day:
Anbu Vasudevan - Originally from Malaysia, Anbu is a caterer and chef specializing in Asian and Middle Eastern food, which she delivers or prepares at private parties.
Nick Clark - Nick is a certified athletic trainer who works to find the sources of pain as well as addressing improved movement.
David Schiff - David is a luthier who makes guitars in his Warwick workshop and is the author of “The Woodworkers Guide to Making and Using Jigs, Fixtures and Setups: How to Get the Most from Every Tool in Your Shop.”

To most people “Classical Music” is a general term, a catch-all for anything that might be played at a symphony concert. There is however a more specific, and more historical definition of ‘Classical Music’ which needs exploration. In this hybrid mix of conversation and live musical performance, the Kemyndable Trio will highlight examples of phrasing, harmony, and form that differentiate these “Classical” compositions from music that might have been composed at another time, or by a composer with a different aesthetic sense. Among the works they will perform are:
- Mozart Overture to Cosi Fan Tutte
- Mozart 3 German Dances
- Devienne Flute Trio #5
- Scherer Trio #2

The Dig (2021) British drama based on John Preston’s 2007 novel, which reimagines the events of the 1939 excavation of Sutton Hoo in Suffolk, England [Note: Sue Brunning, the current curator at the British Museum, has called Sutton Hoo "one of the most important archaeological discoveries of all time, certainly in British archeology but I would argue in the world."]; stars Carey Mulligan, Ralph Fiennes, Lily James, Johnny Flynn, Ben Chaplin, Ken Stott, Archie Barnes, and Monica Dolan. Rated PG-13; 1 hour, 52 minutes.
