Anime Club meets once a month to watch anime, talk about manga, and make anime projects! New members are always welcome! Registration Required.   

Earn volunteer credit each month by joining our Teen Advisory Board! Plan programs for the library, make suggestions for books and events, and help make the Young Adult section your own! Registration Required. 

Flutist Carla Auld, joined by guitarist David Galvez, will present Latin Classical music from the 1800’s to present-day compositions.

November 20: AWPL Thanksgiving Special - Home for the Holidays (1995) Jodie Foster’s family comedy-drama stars Holly Hunter, with an ensemble cast: Robert Downey Jr., Anne Bancroft, Charles Durning, Dylan McDermott, Geraldine Chaplin, Steve Guttenberg, Cynthia Stevenson, Claire Danes, Austin Pendleton and David Strathairn. Single mother Claudia Larson (Hunter) travels alone to her childhood home for an explosive holiday dinner with her dysfunctional family. Rated PG-13: 1 hour 43 minutes.

Come and meet new friends and join in on a game that is played all over the world.  Mahjongg enthusiasts of all skill levels are invited to play every Tuesday from 10am to 1pm. The sessions are open-ended and participants can play as many or as few games as they wish.  Players with mahjongg sets are encouraged to bring them, as the Library has only a limited number to loan. This program is free, ongoing and open to players from all communities.

November 27: Father Stu (2022) Stars Mark Wahlberg, Mel Gibson and Jacki Weaver; inspired by the true story of the late Stuart Long, an agnostic with a criminal record who became an unlikely Catholic priest after developing a debilitating and incurable autoimmune disorder, suffering a traumatic motorcycle accident and experiencing a religious vision.
