This workshop addresses the science behind healthy brain development, effects of screens on the developing brain, symptoms of screen overuse and our solutions to prevent and reverse the effects of addictive screen habits.
Presented by Heather Franklin. Heather is a Warwick mother of two with a bachelor's degree in physical education (K-12) and a minor in coaching from the University of Central Florida. She has been teaching children since 2000 in a variety of sports such as gymnastics, swimming, rowing, and circus arts. She is passionate about sharing the ScreenStrong message while empowering and supporting families.
This program is appropriate for parents, caregivers, educators, or anyone working with children from infancy to early adulthood.
