    Come and meet new friends and join in on a game that is played all over the world.  Mahjong enthusiasts of all skill levels are invited to play every Tuesday from 10am to 1pm. The sessions are open-ended and participants can play as many or as few games as they wish.  Players with mahjong sets are encouraged to bring them, as the Library has only a limited number to loan. This program is free, ongoing and open to players from all communities.

    National Audubon Society's Christmas Bird Count is a citizen science project that has been tallying the birds of the Americas for over a century. Each year from December 14th through January 5th thousands of volunteers compile valuable data on bird population trends. Come learn about it's history and about how you might participate.
