The Birds & the Seeds: Boosting Biodiversity with Native Plants

In this interactive and engaging workshop, participants will learn about biodiversity:  what it is and how to cultivate it in common spaces.  All participants will have the opportunity to learn about seed saving, increasing biodiversity through native planting and will walk away with seed bombs.

The Wizard of Oz: 80 Years Young

Pointillism Workshop with Michael Byro

Pointillism is a technique of neo-impressionist painting using tiny dots of various pure colors, which become blended in the viewer's eye. It was developed by Georges Seurat with the aim of producing a greater degree of luminosity and brilliance of color. 

Artist Michael Byro will teach participants how to create a small pointillist painting on wood.  A $5 refundable is due at the time of in-person registration at the Help Desk; please choose one design - flower (complex) or primitive animal (easy) - when registering for this class.  Space is limited.
