Join us for an afternoon of music featuring violinist/singer Deni Bonet and guitarist/singer Chris Flynn. Also a songwriter, Deni is a classically trained violinist who treats audiences of all ages to quirky, melodic, and fun folk rock music.
A panel of reenactors and tribal members will informally discuss the issues and challenges surrounding the presentation of Native Americans during reenactment of historical events. As the nation's 250th approaches and celebrations are planned, there is great need to include their role and struggles in our history, yet few of this ancestry choose to become reenactors. Those who do participate are overwhelmed with demand.
