This July marks the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing! The Pretty Committee will show you how to create a "rocketship" from an old book! Please bring in an old frame (8" x 10" or 11" x 14") if you would like to hang your rocketship on a wall.
The fall migration is here, and with it, a host of common and uncommon birds. Jim Van Gelder will cover the basics of bird identification and local birding hotspots.
Seasoned table tennis player Ann Damia will play exhibition games and demonstrate her winning techniques.

Ladies & gentlemen and children of ages, join our Ringmaster Karen Gersch and the Piccolo Circus for an afternoon of acrobatics, juggling, lasso spinning, clowns and more! This is an outdoor performance, weather permitting. Bring a lawn chair or blanket. Outdoors, we can accommodate all who wish to attend. In the case of inclement weather, the performance will be in the Community Room. Seating in the Community Room is limited to the first 80 people who are registered.
Mending Matters! Bring your torn textiles and get advice on how to mend them from Repair Café sewing “fixperts.” You’ll learn how to stitch, patch, repair and repurpose your favorite clothes, even wool sweaters. See demos of decorative “visible mending,” hand and machine sewing techniques, including how to release a stuck zipper.
