Beekeeper Bill Neumann welcomes all ages to this demo and discussion of beekeeping. Learn to identify a honeybee, about life in the hive, how honey is made and much more.

Tannis Kowalchuk performs the role of Anne Hathaway in a lively song-filled solo performance about the life of Anne Hathaway, the wife of William Shakespeare. The play begins on the afternoon of Shakespeare's funeral. Anne knows she must read her husband's will, but before she does, the widow relives her life as mother, wife, and woman in 17th century Stratford-Upon-Avon.

Calling all teen poets! It's time for the only poetry workshop held under a blanket fort.* Write and share your poetry in this two-hour workshop. Light refreshments will be served.
(* Well, the only one we know of.)

Meet and talk with the photographers of the Hudson Highlands Photo Workshop. Their show, Images of Life, is currently on display for the month of April in the Community Room. Refreshments will be served.

"American Native" documents the struggle of the Ramapough Lenape tribe for official recognition. The film addresses "the forces aligned against them -- old-fashioned bigotry, gaming interests, local property and government interests, federal neglect, and worst of all, the opposition of other Indian peoples."
Beverly Braxton will lead a short discussion following the film (run time: 1 hr. 23 mins.).

A program of songs, tunes and the spoken word on the supernatural. This program is in two 45-minute sets with an intermission with refreshments. The first half is family-friendly - adults will enjoy, too. The second half has more of the classic ghost ballads.
