In days gone by, getting your portrait taken by a photographer was a big event and called for turning out in a very special outfit. A group of unidentified glass plate negatives of local Warwick residents was donated in recent years by Duane Joslyn to the Warwick Historical Society. A selection of these negatives has been scanned and an exhibit created on the Hudson River Heritage website by volunteer Dianne Aimone and costume historian Mimi Sherman. This is a joint program of the Albert Wisner Public Library and the Historical Society of the Town of Warwick.
As part of the celebration of Black History Month, the Teen Theatre Ensemble presents a musical tribute to Martin Luther King, Jr.
