Learn an easy method for transferring your favorite images for use on greeting cards or artwork. Please bring your own images to transfer. Only photocopies (black or white/color) or images clipped from newspapers and magazines work for this technique.

After the last of his five daughters finished college Arthur Baxter decided to realize a dream he first had as a kid growing up in Miami. He went to east Africa in September 2008, planning to visit Tanzania, go on safari, and attempt a climb to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro. It was an unforgettable adventure.
The presentation will include a personal narrative together with over 100 photos that will tell the story of a 50 mile trek climbing over 20,000 feet in 8 days to reach Kilimanjaro's summit.

Doodles & Daydreams, the pen and ink drawings of Charles "Dule " DeFesi, are on display in the Community Room/Gallery during the month of August.
For many years, Dr. DeFesi was a teacher and researcher in medicine. Often illustrating his own scientific publications, he also created the detailed pen-and-ink designs that comprise this exhibit over a period of twenty years.
