Finding the roots of Warwick's African American ancestors can be a challenging but rewarding pursuit.  Join three researchers who are exploring the lives of African enslaved persons connected to their family tree.  Researchers include Leah Rogne, Professor Emerita of Sociology at Minnesota State University who is researching a runaway slave from the Seward family; Sherri Bruen, whose Garrison connections are gradually coming to light by using wills and other documents; and David Dolson, who is tracing and coming to terms with his slave-owning ancestors.
