With all of the terrible events of the past 18 months, missing a birthday party normally would not be a big deal. However, last December the world missed out on celebrating the 250th birthday of the great Ludwig Van Beethoven, born on December 16, 1770. This milestone is significant enough that it needs to be observed, even if a little late.
The Science Book Club will discuss broadcaster and natural historian David Attenborough's 2020 book A Life on Our Planet: My Witness and A Vision for the Future. Copies of the book will be available at the Library for pickup at the Circulation Desk. All are welcome to participate.
