Every month the Library hosts a Pinterest Craft Party! This month's project is a Sharpie Mug. Participants need to bring in a ceramic or porcelain mug; we will supply the necessary markers and decorative accents. This program is for adults.

Are you into Pinterest? Each month the Library is hosting a Pinterest Craft Night. This month's project is a rolled paper reed frame Each participant needs to bring in a dollar-store frame and a small picture - we will supply the magazine pages (the reeds) and glue.
Beyond Basics: Techniques for Intermediate Knitting
The world of knitting offers many techniques and applications beyond the basics skills, and within each one, there are multiple options to create, depending on the desired effect. Join veteran knitters each week to learn some of these skills. Techniques include multiple ways to make buttonholes, increase and decrease stitches, cast on and bind off.
Bring needles, smooth yarn and scissors. Limited registration.

Join School Counselor Teri Mack for a workshop that includes information about the impact of stress on the brain and simple strategies to reduce stress.

"Play in a Day" Performance by the "Acting for a Change" Improv Players
The Acting for a Change Senior Improv Players will perform an original play created earlier in the day at the "Play in a Day" Workshop. Join the cast and director Linda Richmond for some Improv fun!
"Acting for a Change" Senior Improvisational Theater Meeting
An invitation open to all seniors who want to experience the joys and wonders of improvisational theater. No prior experience needed, no lines to memorize - just enthusiasm and a willingness to participate. You don"t have to be "funny" to come to these sessions - but you will have fun!

"Play in a Day" ~ "Acting for a Change" Senior Improv Players
Join Linda Richmond for a “Play in a Day” workshop for senior adults. The workshop leads participants through a series of exercises for developing characters and scenarios from the imagination and personal experience that lead to an improvised play built upon a common theme. (No prior acting experience necessary-no script and no lines to learn!)
