Understanding Abstraction and Collage with Fran Cox

Artist Fran Cox will use images from art throughout history to explain how artists moved through realism to abstraction and how collage is a natural outgrowth of that process. Abstraction can then be seen as a language anyone can learn to read.

Come learn how you can save money on your utitlity bills and make your home safer and more comfortable. Meridith Nierenberg of RUPCO's Green Jobs-Green NY program will present energy tips for the upcoming heating season, as well as info on residential energy efficiency and renewable energy programs offered by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA). Bill Makofske, the Energize Warwick energy coach, will describe the homeowner technical services that Sustainable Warwick offers to complement the NYSERDA programs.
