The film addresses "the forces aligned against them -- old-fashioned bigotry, gaming interests, local property and government interests, federal neglect, and worst of all, the opposition of other Indian peoples."
Beverly Braxton will lead a short discussion following the film (run time: 1 hr. 23 mins.).
A program of songs, tunes and the spoken word on the supernatural. This program is in two 45-minute sets with an intermission with refreshments. The first half is family-friendly - adults will enjoy, too. The second half has more of the classic ghost ballads.
