Members of the Korean Spirit and Culture Promotion Project will teach you how to make lovely traditional lotus flower lanterns using colorful paper and wire frames.  All materials provided.  Traditional Korean refreshments will be served.

A $5 deposit is due at time of in-person registration.

In Zero Waste Home, Bea Johnson shares the story of how she simplified her life by reducing her waste. Today, Bea, her husband, Scott, and their two young sons produce just one quart of garbage a year, and their overall quality of life has changed for the better:  They now have more time together, they’ve cut their annual spending by a remarkable 40 percent, and they are healthier than they’ve ever been.

The public is welcome.

An invitation  open to all who want to experience the joys and wonders of improvisation theater.  The skills of improv are something anyone can learn ! Just join the group and then improvise your way to some fun…

No prior experience needed, just enthusiasm and a willingness to participate. You don’t have to be “funny” to come to these sessions: but you will have fun!

This class will explore some basic concepts of jazz including improvisation, chord treatment, movement, rythmns, the blues and more!  Part lecture, part listening, join us for a fun and easy time spent with a truly American genre.  This program coordinates with the March 31 jazz performance which requires a separate registration.
