Grades K-2. Learn how to be a pirate as we read How I Became a Pirate by Melinda Long. After reading this book together participants will learn their pirate names, make a treasure chest and go on a scavenger hunt.
Grades K-2. This week we will read about rocks in A Rock is Lively and If You Find a Rock. We will look at different rocks and experiment with rock crystals.
Grades K-2. During this session we will read Honey, Honey, Lion by Jan Brett. Together we will discuss the book and learn about the honey badger and other African animals.
