The brutal murder of Richard Jennings in December of 1818 gained national notoriety. Five local people plotted to murder Jennings over a disputed parcel of land. A quick unraveling of the conspiracy led to their arrest, and future President Martin Van Buren assisted in prosecuting the case. Write, illustrate and relate your fictional work in any way you are inspired by the theme "Tell a Story to the Community". Pick up your notebook at a brief informational session. All Marble Fiction books created will be added to the Library's collection for the community to borrow.
