Hiking is a wonderful way to stay fit and enjoy the beauty of nature. All you need is proper equipment, shoes and clothes. This program will teach you how to stay warm and comfortable outdoors as well as hiking tips, what gear you will need, where to hike, and information on area hiking groups. Examples of equipment will be on display.
Gar will share tips on the organic approach to pest management, soil amendment, mulching, watering, late-season plants and harvesting.
