Knitting Class
Explore the world of yarn and knitting! Join us for four consecutive Thursday afternoons to learn some of the basics. Terms such as cast-on, knit and purl stitches, and binding-off will be taught. Please bring a pair of wooden or bamboo knitting needles ten inches or shorter in length; yarn will be supplied. Registration necessary; space is limited.
Monday Afternoon at the Movies - "Mary Poppins"
Starring Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke. The Travers children get the attention of their all-business father by tormenting every new nanny in the Banks household. When Mr. Banks advertises conventionally for another nanny, the kids compose their own ad, asking for someone with a little kindness and imagination.
