Artist/Teacher Heidi Lanino Bilezikian and her students from the Hudson Valley Homeschoolers program, and Fine Arts and Creativity for Kids, welcome you to view their group show of Paper Self-Portraits and Art Books. The students were encouraged to create self-portraits and to tell a story about themselves through shape and design. Their hand-made Art Books provided a home for image gathering and an outlet for personal expression.

Do you have a favorite poem? Do you write your own poems? Share them! Meet us outside for an outdoors poetry picnic under the stars. We'll take turns reading aloud all of our favorites. Local writer Tom Naples will be leading a poetry workshop. Light refreshments will be served. Bring flashlights!

It's time to wrap up summer with a party! Stop in for pizza and ice cream, stick around to hear who won what! All contest winners will be announced, prizes will be awarded, and ice cream for everybody! What could be better? Vampires are taking over the library! Come and be a designer or a model in our vampire edition of Project Runway. You'll design and make (or model) vampire couture made on the spot from everday supplies. We'll provide everything, even vampire fangs! Pizza and refreshments will be provided for all contestants.
Don't forget to invite friends and family for the runway show beginning at 8:30pm!
