The Fabelmans (2022) Steven Spielberg’s coming-of-age drama loosely based on his adolescence, stars Gabriel LaBelle as Sammy Fabelman, Michelle Williams and Paul Dano (as Mitzi and Burt, Sammy’s parents). Growing up in post-World War II era Arizona, young Sammy aspires to become a filmmaker as he reaches adolescence, but soon discovers a shattering family secret and explores how the power of films can help him see the truth. The film is dedicated to the memories of Spielberg's real-life parents, Leah Adler and Arnold Spielberg, who died in 2017 and 2020, respectively.
