Step into a world of mystery and suspicion as you work together with the other attendees to solve the crime loosely based on Ann Cleeves' Vera Stanhope novel, The Glass Room. So gather your sleuthing skills and join us for a night of murder, mystery, and mayhem at the library!

    Strings N' Things Crocheting Class for Children

    Introduction to crocheting for children. In this class students will learn how to: make basic crochet stitches, read patterns, and follow tutorials.  At the conclusion of the course participants will have a Show and Tell to display their crocheted item(s). Participants will need to bring a crochet hook between the sizes of G and J and a small tote for their crochet supplies. If they have special yarn they’d like to use they can bring that too, however, yarn will be provided. 

    Your teachers for this program are members of the Warwick Valley High School Strings N’ Things Club. This club was established by Advisor Elissa Maynard The objective of the club is to use hand art to benefit the community. Their motto is “We Crochet & Knit for Community Service”. 

    This class runs for 3 sessions on Sundays from 12:30 to 1:30 on these dates: April 23, May 7 and June 4.

    Music on McFarland presents: An Afternoon of Storytelling and Music with Marty Kupersmith of Jay and The Americans

    As a witness to the birth of Rock and Roll, to joining one of the most successful vocal groups, to experiences with people, artists and the business of the music industry, Marty is a slice of American history.  
    Marty will share his stories, play music with his solo band – Kupe and The Alibis, and answer questions from the audience.
    This program will be held outdoors on the River Birch Performance Patio.  Please bring a folding chair or blanket for seating.  In the event of rain, the concert will move indoors.  Please check our website for updates.
