Local artist, Leila Noueihed, will guide this class through a simple acrylic art piece while we sip "mocktails." Registration is required. No experience necessary.
Leila Noueihed is resident of Ringwood, New Jersey, an Adjunct Professor in the Science Dept. at CUNY, a medical research scientist,and Pharmacist. Her education is French, Russian, and American. Music is her muse. Joseph Hayden and the Russian Masters are her inspiration. Her imagination keeps her free. She views the relationship between Earth and the galaxies as one of mystery and wonder. She is self-taught artist, experimental, and enjoys painting in all mediums, mainly acrylic. She enjoys many genres of art, especially post impressionists. Her compositions come from her inner feelings infused by listening to favorites of music. She paints free of any particular style or fashion. She is a member of the Warwick Art League and the Ringwood Manor Art Association. Her paintings were exhibited at Greenwood Lake Library several times as well as at Albert Wisner Library plus exhibiting with groups locally and internationally. “Everything could be raised above the real..” so she likes to bring the viewer when looking at her art to see beyond what is on the surface.
