Archaeologist Edward J. Lenik will visit to informally discuss his life's work documenting Native American heritage. During his more than fifty years studying the archaeology and culture of regional sites, he has authored several books, including Keepers of the Pass: The Ramapough Lenape Indians; Amulets, Effigies, Fetishes, and Charms: Native American Artifacts and Spirit Stones from the Northeast; and his most recent work, Rock Art in an Indigenous Landscape: From Atlantic Canada to Chesapeake Bay. He will have copies of some of his books on the Ramapough Lenape available for purchase and signing.
