Summer of Soul (...Or, When the Revolution Could Not Be Televised) (2021) Questlove’s Oscar winning documentary (and directorial debut) - an epic event that celebrated Black history, culture, and fashion. In the summer of 1969, just 100 miles south of Woodstock, The Harlem Cultural Festival was filmed in Mount Morris Park. The footage was never seen and largely forgotten--until now. Includes never-before-seen concert performances by Stevie Wonder, Nina Simone, Sly and the Family Stone, Gladys Knight and the Pips, Mahalia Jackson, B.B. King and The 5th Dimension. Manuel Arruffat has more than 12 years experience as a physical therapist. He is certified to provide FMT (functional movement), musculoskeletal ultrasound, cupping and a European therapy technique named myofascial fibrolisis.
Arruffat earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Dominican College, where he also earned his Masters of Science degree in Physical Therapy.

Ukraine is in crisis. In order to lend perspective to any crisis, it is wise to research the whole situation, especially its history - in newspaper terms, “the story behind the story.” Join Prof. Michael Strmiska, PhD. for insight into the plight and position of Ukraine during the last 1200 years.
SUNY Orange Global Studies Professor Michael Strmiska is a scholar and researcher of eastern and northern Europe. As a Fulbright Fellow, he was a visiting lecturer at Šiauliai University in Lithuania in 2004, and has been a guest lecturer for Vilnius University in Lithuania. He was a visiting professor at Masaryk University in the Czech Republic in 2015, and in 2020 was a Fulbright Fellow teaching at Rīga Stradiņš University in Latvia. Dr. Strmiska has traveled extensively in Eastern Europe, including Poland, Hungary, Estonia, Croatia, Russia, and Ukraine. In 2017, he was chosen as a recipient of the SUNY Chancellor's Award, Excellence in Scholarship and Creative Activities. He holds a B.A. from Hampshire College, and M.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Ph.D. from Boston University. He is the author of Modern Paganism in World Cultures: Comparative Perspectives, and is currently working on a book tentatively entitled Unchristian Eastern Europe: Pagans, Jews, Gypsies and Muslims. He also has published articles on new religious movements in Iceland, Lithuania, and Latvia.

Mad Science - Sea, Sand & Surf - Children explore the science of the sea and learn about what sand is made from, how shells are used by animals for protection, and what animals live in the ocean. They make their own ocean bottle to take home. For ages 3-5.
