She became a singer because it was the only thing she could do. She became a star because it was the only way she could do it. Michael Apted’s biopic follows the story of country music singer Loretta Lynn from her early teen years in a poor family to her rise as one of the most influential country musicians. Based on Lynn's 1976 biography, it stars Sissy Spacek (who picked up an Oscar), Tommy Lee Jones, Beverly D'Angelo and Levon Helm. Rated PG: 2 hours 4 minutes.

AWPL Classic Monday - Julius Caesar (1953) Beware the Ides of March!  Joseph L. Mankiewicz’s historical drama of tyranny, deceit, political betrayal and assassination in ancient Rome. Based on William Shakespeare’s 1599 play - The Tragedy of Julius Caesar stars Marlon Brando, James Mason, John Gielgud, Louis Calhern, Edmond O'Brien.  Not Rated: 2 hours.

Warwick Valley Plant Native Alliance will host a Plant Natives Fair in the Community Room. The fair is free and open to native plant enthusiasts of all skill levels. There will be presentations, other volunteer organizations, and more.

St. Patrick’s Day Special - Life's a Breeze (2013) One man's trash is a mother's treasure Set in Ireland, a charming comedy that follows a family struggling to stay afloat and together through hard times. The family is turned upside down when Nan’s (Fionnula Flanagan) unemployed slacker son Colm (Pat Shortt), and his niece Emma (Kelly Thornton) make a well-intended attempt to clean out her house and accidentally trash the mattress where she’s been stashing her life savings. Now they must overcome their many differences to lead their family in a race against time to find a lost fortune.  Rated R: 1 hour 23 minutes.
