Join us for an evening concert inspired by the sheet music that Thomas Jefferson collected for his library at Monticello, paired with an engaging exploration of how his musical tastes reveal his personality and the intellectual spirit of his era. Often seen as a defining expression of The Enlightenment, the Declaration of Independence reflects ideals also found in classical music. What connections emerge when we listen to the music Jefferson chose to surround himself with?
