Nadia Hashimi is a pediatrician-turned-novelist who draws on her Afghan roots to craft internationally bestselling books for adults and young readers.  Her novels span generations and continents, taking on themes like forced migration, conflict, poverty, misogyny, colonialism and addiction.  Nadia is no stranger to Warwick:  her family owned Larry's Deli for years.  She will join us on Wednesday, May 12 to discuss her new novel, Sparks Like Stars (William Morrow 2021).  Copies of the book are available at the help Desk for registrants of the program, and copies are also available to place on hold through the RCLS catalog.
