Poem On My Pocket - We'll give you a pocket full of words, then you construct a poem and glue it on the pocket. Completed pocket poems will be added to our poetry display. Register beginning March 27 to pick up a pocket on our curbside children's cart, or stop in at the Children's desk. This program will run from April 1 through April 30. Open to grades K-5.
The Paper Bag Princess Puppet Show - Watch the story of The Paper Bag Princess, performed by the very talented Children's Dept. staff. This is the story of a spunky princess, a prince and a fiery dragon. Find out how this princess saves the day in this classic Robert Munsch story. STEM Recycling - By using recycled materials, we will create a sundial, a compass, a balance scale and more! Then use the tools you make for your own science and math exploration. Register for all five classes beginning March 27 and to reserve your bags of supplies. Video and bags will be released on Wednesdays: April 21, 28; May 5, 12, 19. For children in grades K-3.
