Children

Ages 10-18 months. This is a special time to share with your pre-toddler. Together we will read stories, sing songs, do fingerplays and have fun! This session will meet on Wednesdays April 10-May 22. Please sign up at the library March 9-28 and bring your library card.

For children who have completed grades K-3. Using the sun and special paper you will be able to create fun pictures.

Ages 2-7. Join Kurt for a special fa,ily music program for young children. Get up and shake your sillies with Kurt!

Join us for a family friendly concert of original and traditional music, presented by Jeffrey Frieberg. It will be a fun time! For children and parents.

Join us for a family-friendly celebration of our home - the Earth. Activities include: "Trash" origami, making a bird house from a recycled milk container, creating a book sculpture from old books, sampling a veggie pizza, viewing short films, learning energy-saving tips from Sustainable Warwick, and making a container vegetable garden with Gar Wang. Special musical guests Tony Vee and Matt Price will provide entertainment. The first fifty visitors will receive a free seedling tree to plant at home.

"Be Red Cross Ready" is a Red Cross preparedness presentation that teaches communities how to Get a Kit, Make a Plan, and Stay Informed before and during a disaster such as a snow storm, flood, fire, and other hazards, strikes our region. The presentation is about half an hour long, and it covers topics such as sheltering in place, evacuation, emergency kit preparation, setting up a meeting place, and many more.

Ages 5-10 with parent. Learn bicycle safety through this hands-on, fun experience. Bring your bike and helmet to ride through our obstacle course that will be set up by the Warwick Police Department. This program will be held in the library parking lot.

The Korean Spirit and Culture Promotion Project promotes Korean history and culture to the wider world. The presentation will provide a basic introduction to Korea's long and rich artistic history, the spirit of its people, and its cultural values. The program will include insight into Korean history and culture with a demonstration of theKorean wedding ceremony in beautiful, traditional costume. There will also be a special recognition of local Korean War veterans. Following the program, traditional Korean meals will be served.

For children who have completed grades K-3. Naturalist Deb Keane will show us how to create a miniature gnome world with moss, pebbles, sticks and other objects.
