Calling all musicians and music fans who wish to understand the components of music and how they work. Barry Wiesenfeld will discuss the basics of chords and chord progression, melody and harmony, as well as other topics. No knowledge of music is needed, only a desire to learn! This is a four-week course; attendance at all sessions is encouraged.
Join Linda Richmond, the director of the Library’s Acting for a Change senior improvisational theater, to explore the ins-and-outs of playing a role during a 4-week summer intensive Improvisational Theater workshop (July 13, 20, 27 and August 3). No prior acting experience is necessary; there is no script, nor any lines to learn!
