Join us for this fascinating story of art conservation. Tina Kane will present a discussion with slides of the landmark medieval tapestry conservation project she managed for the Metropolitan Museum. In 1973, the curators of the Cloisters began the restoration of a 16th century Redemption Tapestry. The restoration was completed in 2009. The tapestry now hangs in the Cloisters.
