"For the Love of Reading" Artists' Reception

Meet the artist donors of the "For the Love of Reading" art exhibit and silent auction. Art will be on display Oct. 15 to Nov. 15 on the Main floor of the Library.
Silent Auction on November 15 at the Friends of the Library 5th Anniversary Celebration at the Library. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. See the Help Desk for more information on the event.

Understanding Abstraction and Collage with Fran Cox

Artist Fran Cox will use images from art throughout history to explain how artists moved through realism to abstraction and how collage is a natural outgrowth of that process. Abstraction can then be seen as a language anyone can learn to read.
