Korean Lotus Flower Lantern Workshop
Members of the Korean Spirit and Culture Promotion Project will teach you how to make lovely traditional lotus flower lanterns using colorful paper and wire frames. All materials provided. Traditional Korean refreshments will be served.
A $5 deposit is due at time of in-person registration.
Taste of Korea Cooking Class
Members of the Korean Spirit and Culture Promotion project will demonstrate four dishes and serve a full meal and dessert.

Sustainable World Book Club dicusses "Zero Waste Home" by Bea Johnson
In Zero Waste Home, Bea Johnson shares the story of how she simplified her life by reducing her waste. Today, Bea, her husband, Scott, and their two young sons produce just one quart of garbage a year, and their overall quality of life has changed for the better: They now have more time together, they’ve cut their annual spending by a remarkable 40 percent, and they are healthier than they’ve ever been.
