Documentary Film Screening - "Heal"
Heal is an award-winning 2017 documentary on the broader approach to healing. It is presented in a mini series in conjunction with the documentary Food Matters to explore the many modalities that can contribute to the healing process. Susanne Meyer-Fitzsimmons, award-winning author of Deep-Living: Healing Yourself to Heal the Planet, will lead a small panel of healing professionals in a Q & A with the audience.

Disney’s Beauty and the Beast is a live-action re-telling of the studio’s animated classic which refashions the classic characters from the tale as old as time for a contemporary audience, staying true to the original music while updating the score with several new songs. Beauty and the Beast is the fantastic journey of Belle, a bright, beautiful and independent young woman who is taken prisoner by a beast in his castle.

(2004) Starring James McAvoy and Romola Garai. When the kinetic Rory moves into his room in the Carrigmore Residential Home for the Disabled, his effect on the home is immediate. Most telling is his friendship with Michael, a young man with cerebral palsy and nearly unintelligible speech. Somehow, Rory understands Michael, and encourages him to experience life outside the confines of home. Rated R; 1 hour, 44 min.

Testament of Youth is a powerful story of love, war and remembrance, based on the First World War memoir by Vera Brittain, which has become the classic testimony of that war from a woman's point of view. Kayaking Program with Mid-Hudson Adirondack Mountain Club
Always wanted to try kayaking, but don’t know how to get started? Adirondack Mountain Club (ADK) trip leader and ACA instructor Don Urmston will tell you how to get started, what gear you’ll need, where to go paddling, where to meet other paddlers and where to get instruction on your technique. See and feel the difference in kayaks, paddles and other equipment at this hands-on presentation. Special attention is given to kayak safety and choosing your first kayak. Whether you just want to paddle occasionally, or you want to become an expert sea kayaker, this program will get you started.
