Name:  Giselle Potter

Autobiographical Information:  Giselle Potter is the illustrator of over twenty-five children’s books including The Year I Didn’t Go to School, which she wrote about and illustrated her experiences of travelling with her parents’ puppet troupe in Italy when she was eight.  Along with children’s books, she does editorial illustrations for numerous publications and advertisements, including a series of animated ads for the British laundry soap, Persil.  She lives and works in the Hudson Valley with her husband and two daughters.
