Join the Hudson Valley Chamber Musicians for a captivating musical journey across continents and centuries. This talented woodwind quintet—featuring flute, oboe, clarinet, French horn, and bassoon—will perform a rich selection of European and American works from the 18th century to today. Experience the beauty, warmth, and charm of chamber music at its finest.

Hudson Valley Chamber Musicians:

Norman Dee, Flute – Praised for his “refined tone and sensitive musicianship” (Washington Evening Star), Norman Dee has performed as soloist and chamber musician across the U.S. and South America. A Juilliard graduate, he has appeared with the Boston Pops, State Orchestra of São Paulo, and New York Virtuosi, and serves on the boards of the Hugo Kauder Society and Music for All Seasons.

Ann Churukian, Oboe – Holding degrees from Oberlin College and Southern Methodist University, Ann performs with several Hudson Valley ensembles including the Greater Newburgh, Northern Dutchess, and Woodstock Symphony Orchestras. She is also Assistant Music Librarian at Vassar College.

Leigh Myers, Clarinet – A Juilliard-trained clarinetist, Leigh has served as principal with orchestras including the Haifa Symphony, Great Neck Philharmonic, and South Florida Symphony, and toured internationally with the New Jersey Wind Symphony.

Terry Watson, Horn – A Manhattan School of Music alumna, Terry is a hornist and music therapist. She co-founded the Metropolitan Brass Quartet, received an NYSCA grant, and later helped establish the Hudson Valley Chamber Musicians. She has performed internationally with the New Jersey Wind Symphony.

Donald Venezia, Bassoon – A Fredonia graduate with further study at Manhattan School of Music, Donald has performed with orchestras including the Pittsburgh Symphony, Buffalo Philharmonic, and New York Grand Opera. He is also former Music Director of WOXR-FM, New York City.
